Warnings On Management Companies Must Be Heeded

Catherine Murphy, TD (Ind) has today emphasised the urgent need for the recommendations of the report of the National Consumer Agency concerning the "legislatively passive" area of Property Management Companies to be implemented by Government. She highlighted in the Dáil today;

 

 "The need without delay to implement the recommendations contained in the report published yesterday by the National Consumer Agency on the issue of Management Companies some recommendations will require new legislation. Many of the recommendations are arrived at following the examination of the lack of consumer protection, the report describes the system here as legislatively passive. There is now no good reason to further delay solutions many of which are highlighted in this report they must be heeded."
