All of Catherine Murphy’s Election Materials Are Locally Produced

We’re now on day three of the 2011 General Election campaign and I’d like to thank all those people who’ve taken the time to speak with myself and my canvassers when we’ve called.

For those who haven’t seen us yet, don’t worry I’m trying to make my way around to as many of you as possible so hopefully we’ll get to most houses in the constituency during the campaign.

Among the many other issues that will be discussed on this site is that of where my election materials are being produced. The simple answer is that all of my materials have been produced in the Republic of Ireland and either in or as close to Kildare as possible to cut down on carbon heavy transport costs.

I’m a big believer in buying locally and it’s great to be able to give business to quality local producers.  Thanks to those who’ve asked about this.
