Ryemont Abbey – Leixlip

This matter relates to taking Ryemont Abbey in charge.

I received the following report to a question I tabled.

“The developer was requested to undertake repairs to the boundary wall at this estate in 2010. To date these repairs have been substantially but not entirely completed. The developer is aware that additional repair works to the wall are required and has agreed to attend to them before the estate is taken in charge.It is proposed to include this estate in the next batch of estates to be advertised for taking in charge. This will most likely be in February. It must be stressed that that the taking in charge of this estate cannot be completed until the repairs to the boundary wall are completed.”

I pointed out that there were a number of false dawn’s and that the residents would be very disappointed if the February date did not materialise.   This is a mature,  extremely well voluntarily maintained estate.
