Jobs Boost for Leixlip Very Welcome

Independent TD for Kildare North Catherine Murphy today welcomed the announcement by MGS.mfg Group that they are to create 150 jobs at the Hewlett Packard site in Leixlip.

Speaking at the announcement in Castletown House this morning, Deputy Murphy said that the announcement is “extremely welcome news for the Leixlip and North Kildare area and I am delighted that the level of investment will be so strong. The support of the IDA has been critical to this announcement and I congratulate them for their hard work.”

“The move really represents a vote of confidence in the area, and in particular the mix of skills which MGS are looking for bodes well for creating sustainable employment for a much wider range of people.”
