Still No Joy On Landline Provision in Kilcock
5th July 2005, Press Release
Deputy Catheirne Murphy has again criticised Eircom’s failure to provide basic landline telephone services to an entire housing estate in Kilcock.
The residents of Brayton Park, Kilcock are in for another month without landline telephone services, in spite of earlier assurances by Eircom that service would be rolled out by the first week in July. Many residents have been waiting since August of 2004 for service to be provided, and “this latest setback is just another in a long list of delays which are causing frustration to all residents concerned”, said Murphy.
“I very much hope this is the last time the project is delayed, it’s about time that the people of Brayton Park were provided with what is, by today’s standards, an essential service” concluded Murphy.
